Search for the perfect cleansing towelettes

I admittedly can be a bit lazy with my skin care and didn’t wash my face at night for years!  I’m better at skincare as I’m getting older but for some reason I just hate washing my face at night.  So in come cleansing towelettes to my routine which are better than nothing.  These have really hit the market the last couple of years and I’m trying to find the one I like best.  Here are the ones I’ve tried so far.

Olay Wet Cleansing Towelettes Sensitive Fragrance Free.  I got these for around $5 for 30 towelettes at Target.  These were the first cloths I used and are the ones I’m currently using.  I love that these are fragrance free but they do not work as good as others I’ve tried

Equate Beauty Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes. I got these for about $4 for 60 towelettes at Walmart.  I got these at I time I was really saving money to afford my new house.  These are actually a nice little towelette for the money.  They do work better than the Olay ones but these are quite small so it often took me 2 cloths to do my entire face so that kinda negated the cost savings.
Equate Beauty Exfoliating Wet Cleansing Towelettes.  I got these for about $4.75 for 60 towelettes at Walmart.  I actually didn’t like these at all as they did not have enough solution on them.  I don’t think I even finished them all.

Yes To Towelettes.  Yes To did a huge promotion last Cyber Monday where you could get anything from their website for $2!  They totally underestimated the numbers that would come out for this promotion and it was a total disaster with their website bogged down that many people couldn’t get through.  Luckily they honored the sale and let people that tried to purchase on the Cyber Monday sale get a special code for a special sale day and still get items for $2.  Anyhow I really stocked up on Yes To products including each type of their towelettes.  Yes To wipes are 98% Natural; Oil-free, hypoallergenic, petroleum free, paraben free and cruelty free.
Yes To Cucumbers these wipes are for sensitive skin and are very cooling.  They really don’t have a smell or maybe a cucumber smell which smells like nothing to me.  I liked these wipes.  They we’re quite effective in getting makeup off and are large enough for one to do my whole face.

Yes to Blueberries. These wipes target fine lines and wrinkles.  I tried these before in a Birchbox.  I like these well enough and they do work nicely in removing makeup.  However I think they smell a little funky.  It’s just the natural smell and I know these are completely fine to use.  I just don’t care for the smell.
Yes To Grapefruit   These wipes are exfoliating and brightening. I liked these wipes and they had a nice light grapefruit scent.  I think ultimately i prefer a non-textured wipe.

Yes To Tomatoes these wipes are for oily and acne prone skin.  They contain salicylic acid which I have had good luck with clearing up my acne.  However these wipes were way to strong for my face and left it red and angry.  I still have these in case of a real nasty breakout but I really just need to get rid of them.

Up &Up Cleansing Towelettes.   I got these for about $4 for 30 wipes at Target.  I did not like these at all.  They were wayyyy too wet and gor everywhere. I the me tried to dry them out but didn’t work.  I didn’t feel these were very effective either.
Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes. I got these for for about $5 for 25 wipes at Target.  These worked the best of all the wipes I used.  It was literally amazing at how much they took off my face.  I did not care for the scent of these though and they are pricier than other options.

I plan to try as many different wipes/towelettes as I can so I will be back with part 2 later in the year!
