Here are the masks I used this week.
Purederm anti-stress heat therapy mask – oatmeal. I got this in the first Memebox whole grains box. I was waiting for it to get cooler so I could try this out since it’s self heating. You are supposed to leave it on for 15 minutes but I chickened out after 5 and wiped it off. I was warm but not really hot and left my face feeling smooth for a day or so. Next time I’ll leave it on for the entire 15 minutes!
Skinfood rice mask wash off. I got this from Beauteque and I tried it out before at night. I had a hard time getting all the rice granules off my face so I switched to using it in my shower. Now I don’t follow the instructions so that could limit its effectiveness but I still really like the light exfoliation and smooth skin this produces! The instruction say to massage onto the face for 10-15 minutes. Ain’t nobody got time for that! I just massage it on for a few minutes and leave on for a bit before I wash it off.
To Cool for School pumpkin sleeping pack. I was inspired to use this pack when Memebox released a pumpkin box. I’m on a Memebox no buy through the end of the month so I didn’t order the box but I did use my pumpkin mask. This sadly does not smell pumpkiny but is a nice mask that is moisturizing.
Sesha skin therapy botanical hydro mask. I received this in my October US Glossybox. I wanted to try this our right away as I was curious how a US made sheet mask would compare to the Korean ones I typically use. First it had slight scent which was ok but a little odd. This mask fit my face much better than most korean ones. The biggest issue I had with this is that it was sticky. Just putting it on my hands got sticky and it left a sticky residue on my face afterwards. I think this mask worked fine but the stickiness of it I did not like and so would not repurchase.
That’s it for this week. What masks did you use this week?
