Memebox Special #46 From Jeju

When Memebox released their From Jeju box I really had no idea what Jeju Island was but people seemed excited so I decided to buy it!  I since have learned that Jeju Island is a volcanic island of South Korea that is famous for green tea, volcanic ash, citrus and other ingredients.  It’s quite popular in Korean skincare and I was excited to see what would be in this box.  Let’s see what I got!

First Look
Product card
Skindeco Pore Clay Sparkling Heating Mask 100ml.  Value $33.  I was sure that a volcanic mask would be in this box as it’s quite popular for Jeju products.  This looks nice though felt oddly light to me.  Not sure what the sparkling part is!  Lol. I have a few too many masks (ok a lot!) at the moment so am gonna sell this.  Also gotta stick to my sell at least 2 items rule!
How to use – Spread the mask evenly over clean face.  Rinse off after 15 minutes.
The Yeon Jeju Hallabong Ade Energy Peeling Toner. 200ml. Value $19.  Hallabong is an orange native to Jeju island.  I keep wanting to call it billabong – do people still wear that brand?  People other than surfers I mean?  Anyhow back on topic this peeling toner has all kinds of stuff like kiwi, broccoli, papaya and black willow in it.  Peeling kinda scares me but I’m gonna test this out and if it doesn’t react poorly with my skin will give it a real try!
How to use – Wet a cotton pad with toner and gently wipe away from inner towards outer contours.
Skincure SanDaWha Natural Mild Cleansing Oil. 30ml. Value $10.
I’ve been wanting to try a cleansing oil and this small one is perfect to try out.  This includes Jeju camellia oil which is gentle and cleanses the skin.
How to use – Pump out 2-3 times onto dry hands and softly massage over face. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Secret Nature From Jeju Serum.  50ml. Value $20.98 – I found in the ebay shop iamloveshop for this lower price.  This serum is enriched with Jeju complex – broccoli, carrot, aloe, and asparagus extracts.  It’s free of all kinds of chemicals and looks like a very nice serum.  I think I will sell this though as I have too many serums as is.
How to use – Apply directly to skin and pat in for full absorbance.
Etude House Clean & Moist Green Tea Blendjng Sleeping Cream. 6g.  Value $2.  I’ve seen there spoons before on Korean beauty sites and they honestly seem weird to me to be in that form.  They break apart so you can use the handle as a spatula so it keeps it hygienic and I am interested to try this out.  Green tea is a great product for my face too!
How to use – take out the spoon from its package and separate the handle part of the spoon by breaking it apart.  Use it as a spatula to scoop up the pack and spread it evenly over clean face.  Rinse off with lukewarm water the next morning.  Make sure to apply the pack at the very end of your skincare routine as an overnight treatment.
Etude House Soothing & Clean Green mask pack.  Value $1.  This is really an Etude House I Need You Green Tree Sheet Mask so not sure whats up with the description.  I love these masks. Etude House I Need you masks are my absolute favorite paper sheet masks!  All the masks of this brand I’ve tried fit my face perfectly, have the right out of essence and make my face look and feel great!  I tried this out right away and it didn’t disappoint!  Actually I ordered one of these Masks when RoseRose shop was having a sale for $.60 so I have another one on the way to try out!
How to use – Unfold and spread sheet mask over face.  Remove after 15-20 minutes and gently pat to fully absorb remaining essence.  Use 2-3 times per week.
The Yeon a Jeju Canola Honey Silky Hand Cream. 50ml. Value $5. We have been getting a lot of this brand lately!  I tried this out and it smells nice.  I can always use hand cream so I will use this.
How to use – apply directly to hands as often as needed.

I calculate a value of $90.98 for this box and I only paid $23.41 for it.  I’m really quite happy with this box and am excited to try the items I’m keeping out.  Honestly if I wasn’t overloaded with product I would keep everything in this box!

This box is sold out but there are always many great boxes for sale!

  1. Is it weird that I'm not that excited about this box? 😦 Mine is still on it's way and I still have no idea how I feel about it. Everything looks nice and it looks like stuff I will use and enjoy, but I never really know how I feel about stuff until it's in my hands. I guess I feel like the spoon and the sheet masks are kind of small items and there should have been something else in there to make it feel more full? Who knows, haha. Awesome review though! You've made me more excited to check out everything! 🙂 #kbeautybloghop

  2. I don't think its weird at all though I definitely almost always feel differently when I see boxes in real life! I think if they would have put a couple masks or a couple spoons instead of just one that would have made it better and fuller though! #kbeautybloghop

  3. #kbeautybloghop I'm actually quite excited about this box and even more so after doing a recent post which allowed me to get more info in The Yeon which for me is a new brand to the boxes. Can't wait for mine to arrive next week and start trying out products.

  4. I was REALLY curious to see what would be in this box. I agree with Rachel about the spoon and mask … it feels a little small potatoes? The Hallabong toner and heating mask sound really good though. #kbeautybloghop

  5. I contemplated about this box for a long time when it came up and ended up not getting it. It looks like you guys got a lot of goodies in it though. Since I had my Innisfree haul coming, which have a lot of jeju products, I thought I would skip it. I do want to try one of those mask spoons sometime. I've seen them everywhere but never got one. I also wonder how the heating mask sparkles though. #kbeautybloghop

  6. This box seems a little disappointing. I think the Hallabong looks interesting, though. For some reason, I love things that peel. (Yes, I was totally one of those weirdos in elementary school that put glue on her hands so she could peel it off when it dried. 😛 ) My face is dry right now, so I actually need to do a peel to get rid of some of this yuckiness. #kbeautybloghop

  7. I was hoping this box would blow me away similarly to how the earth and sea box did. But this one, I had such high hopes for and it didn't deliver for me. 2 products are one time use, and one is a hand cream … I'm not crazy about hand creams. #kbeautybloghop

  8. I am in awe of your decisiveness to sell items off (2 per box?!). I have such a hard time letting go of anything. The inner dialogue usually goes, “I have so many serums, Too many. But this looks like such a good one!” and then I promptly add it to my hoard. #kbeautybloghop

Too many. But this looks like such a good one!”, and then it promptly gets added to my hoard. #kbeautybloghop
