Memebox Princess Edition 4 The Little Mermaid Unboxing

When Memebox released its second set of Princess edition boxes I wasn’t sure if I wanted to order them or not. I finally broke down and bought them when I had a coupon and some points.  Probably the box I was most excited for was The Little Mermaid box (formerly called the Ariel box but they changed it as I’m sure Disney wouldn’t love the copyright violation! :)). Let’s see what I got.

First Look
Product Card. I apologize that the pictures are a bit shiny but with daylight savings time change in the US I get home after dark now!
Pureplus + Bentonite Cleansing Soap. Value $12. I don’t use face soap like this in bar form but this soap is really interesting.  It’s made with clay from France and cocoon silk.  I’ve actually never heard of a soap made with cocoon silk!  I am curious how much it lathers up as it says it can also be used for shaving and I typically wouldn’t think of a clay based soap to have a lot of lather.  I think I will sell this though as I don’t think I would use it enough to keep it.
How to use – cleanse face with lukewarm water first to relax the pores open.  Lather well and massage onto face with abundant foams for 2-3 minutes.  Rinse off with cold water to close pores back up.
DD’ell Extra Vitalizing Serum. 30ml. Value $42. This serum is made with  algae extracts and galactomyces ferments.  It’s also free of all kinds of nasty stuff like parabens and formaldehyde.  I think fermented products are great and this looks like a very nice serum.  If I didn’t have a backlog of product I would keep this, but I do so I will sell this.
How to use – Pat the serum onto clean face after toner application.
Grinif Collagen Aqua Peeling Gel. 120ml. Value $20.  I have used a Grinif primer before and it was great!  I think I’m going to spot test this peeling gel and see how it does with my face and hopefully start using this soon.
How to use – Spray onto face. Gently massage in a circular motion to roll, lift and sweep away dead skin cells. Rinse well with water.

Dearberry Pure & Popular White Clay Pack. 100g. Value $12.
This pack includes Amazon clay and aloe vera extracts.  I think the aloe is a good addition as clay mask can be drying for the skin.  I’m excited to try this out.
How to use – spread the pack all over cleansed face.  When the clay starts to dry up after 10 minutes, gently rinse off with lukewarm water.  It can be applied partially over T-zone or areas with excessive blackheads and pores. Recommended to be used 1-2 times per week.
Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Suboon Cream. 45ml.  Value $8.99 on ebay.  This is a facial cream made with 30% hyaluronic acid so should be quite moisturizing.  I was excited to try this out until I saw it contained Ceramide.  I have reacted to products with this ingredient before so I try to avoid products that have a higher concentration of it in them so I’m going to sell this.  It looks like a nice and popular product.
How to use – apply to clean face as the last step to skincare. Gently massage it in  for full absorbance.
Pure Smile Original Mask Sheet.  Value $1.  I got the seaweed mask but a pearl mask was also an option.  I’ve used Pure Smile masks before and they are pretty good.  My issue is, these masks are super cheap so would it kill them to throw in maybe both kinds??
How to use – spread the mask sheet over face and rest for 15-20 minutes.  Remove and pay in the remaining essence for full absorbance.
I calculate a value of $95.99 and I only paid $23.23 for it.  I am pretty happy with everything in this box and I really think it mostly fit the Little Mermaid theme.

This box is sold out but there are always many great boxes for sale at Memebox.

Click here on my affiliate link or one of my banners to buy some boxes now!  For orders over $30 (not including shipping and taxes) you can use code LV585Z for $5 off (one use per account).  Also I am more and more impressed with the Memeshop and the US Memshop if you are a U.S. Resident so check those out too – one tip is to wait until items go on sale!

  1. oh, I can totally relate to the dark pictures!! I have the same issue! I am excited to get this box as there a few products that I am eager to try out, like the Mizon and Grinif items. I also do not understand why Memebox can't give us both options on the mask – they are only 1.00 a piece!! so strange -lol Great unboxing!! #kbeautybloghop

  2. Yeah the dark really sucks as I am really not home during the daylight hours except on the weekends anymore! This really is a nice box – I wish I could try out the Mizon! #kbeautybloghop

  3. I'm excited for my little mermaid box now! I wish they give us 2 masks instead of 1 too. Ceramide is actually really good for the skin. The top layer of our skin that prevents moisture loss includes ceramide and the ceramide used in skincare is very close to the ceramide in our skin. Could it be something else in those products that you reacted to? #kbeautybloghop

  4. Daylight savings time is the worst! It's tough getting home after dark.

I'm so jealous of this box! I love the Little Mermaid! The products look fantastic too!

  5. It is very possible it could be something else but it happened twice with masks that were higher in Ceramide. Not a breakout reaction but kind of a burning. I may try another mask just to be sure but don't want to waste this bottle!

  6. Ugh getting natural light for my pictures has been IMPOSSIBLE lately, especially when I work for most of the day and I'm busy all weekend! This was a great review for a surprisingly nice box. I didn't order any of the princess boxes because I'm always weary when they're not very specific themes, but I think this one was the best by far! #kbeautybloghop

  7. Comment from Rebecca B. Bird –
Argh, the lack of daylight around this time of year is the worst! I do think it's a bit funny that they gave you only one of the mask types … not the end of the world, but are PureSmile masks that hard to spare? 😛
