Birchbox November 2014 Unboxing

The November Birchbox had a very fitting theme of giving.  I peeked online so I knew what I was getting before I got my actual box but it’s always better to see everything in person.  Let’s see what I got.

First Look
Product Card
Amika Nourishing Mask. .7floz. Value $1.16. This was the item I picked to receive.  I regularly use the Amika Blow Out spray and I love it.  This is a paraben-free hair treatment that you use once a week to help strengthen hair.
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain – Heartthob.  Value $2.
I’m not much of a lip stain user and this too dark and red for me.  This will go to my gift pile.
Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Lotion.  Value $1.88. This body lotion includes botanicals like grape seed.  The scent is relaxing sea fennel. I’m not sure what that is, but it smells like cucumber to me, which I like.  I’ve tried this brand before and the lotions are pretty nice.
Royal Apothic Cuppa Cuppa Firming Tea Treatment Mask. Value $9.67. I really like products with tea in them as tea is full of antioxidants.  This mask firms and brightens skin in about 8 minutes.  I’m excited to give this a try.
theBalm Cosmetics Cindy-Lou Manizer.  Value $2.40. This is a shimmery pink highlighter which can be used on your cheekbones, eyelids or anywhere on your face.   I’m not sure I would get much use out of this so this goes to my gift pile.
Dang Coconut Chips. Value $2.  I’ve had these before and surprisingly I really like these.  Although I’m not a big fan of coconut in things something about these little toasted coconut chips is really yummy.
I calculate a value of $19.11 for this box and I paid $9.16 for it.  I’m quite happy with this box and will use almost anything in it!
