This Week in Masks – 11/16 and Mememask Review!

Here are the masks I used this week.

Dr Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner. I got this sample from Birchox. This is a blackhead extractor mask.  I used this on my chin.  It’s really nice in these it goes on clear and as it dries it turns a light blue.  Once it’s turned all blue (in 5-10 minutes) you rinse it off.  I think this does loosen any gunk in your pores and I like that u can just use it on targeted areas of the face.
Innisfree Canola Honey Hydro Gel Mask. I got this in my haul from Innisfreeworld. This was a fantastic mask!  It is a two piece hydro gel mask.  Also it was pretty sticky to put on due to the honey I think. At first I wasn’t sure if I would like that but then I realized it really stuck to my face and didn’t slip at all!  It also did not leave a sticky residue on my face once I took it off which I was worried about.  This has a nice faint smell too.
To Cool For School Pumpkin Sleep Pack – this is a very nice sleep pack that leaves my face soft.  I’m running out of these samples but I have a lot of sleep masks I need to try from Memeboxes!
Mememask.  These are the Memebox branded masks that they recently released to the global market.  I was curious to try these so I bought a pack of 5 for $10.   These are a hydrogel mask that come in 2 pieces. One for the top half of your face to your nose.  And the other one for the lower half of your face.  This is a very nice hydrogel – see pic below. I’ve used quite a few hydrogel mask but most have been around $2 each like these. This had a nice clean smell and not too overpowering.
I did find after about 20 minutes that these were sliding right off my face.  I am usually doing something else while using my mask (often updating my blog :)) so I don’t stay still so that’s part of the problem. Another thing I didn’t love about these  is the essence left my face sticky for quite a while after I took it off.  Next time I may have to wipe my face off but I prefer to leave the essence on my face to soak in.
Bottom line I thought these were nice masks but not as nice as the Innisfree one I used above and they are similarly priced.  I’ll use these up for sure but not sure I would purchase more.
I also did try out the Ladykin Vanpir Dark Repairing Water Mask I got in the Miracle Masks Memebox. I want to use it some more and then I’m planning to do a separate review post on it!  But first impressions – I like it!
That’s it for this week. What masks did you use this week?
