The February Glossybox came in a special Valentine’s themed box. I think the box is really nice but really it’s what’s inside that’s important. Let’s see what I got!
What a pretty box.
Julep Nail Polish in Heartleigh. Value $14. I love Julep polish and this is a fun one. This polish is 5-free, vegan and gluten free. You could use it alone but personally I like it as a top coat. I even used it over the Sparitual polish I got in Yuzen for some fun Valentine’s Day nails!
Unwash Bio-Cleansing Conditioner. Value $6.67. This is weird to me. It replaces your shampoo and conditioner in the co-washing trend. It’s supposed to cleanse without stripping natural oils, moisture or compromising color. I will not get to try this out as something about the “fruit-scented” formula I just couldn’t stand. I couldn’t even stand it in my house so I ended up getting rid of it.
Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in Pink. Value $14. This is adorable packaging! This lip balm is made with Argan, grape seed and almond oils. Also contains shea butter so it’s very soft. I will definitely use this and it smells nice too!
Scalisi Skincare Cleanser and Exfoliator. Value $25. This cleanser and exfoliator uses microbeads to remove impurities. It also contains botanicals like jojoba, macadamia nut and sunflower oils. I like exfoliators but I would like to know if the micro beads are plastic before I use this. I don’t like to think of those little plastic bits going down the drain.
Rituals Cosmetics Foaming Shower Gel Sensation in Yogi Flow. Value $15. Now this looks really fun. A foaming shower gel that contains almond oil and Indian rose. It has a very light rose scent which I really like.
I calculate a value of $74.57 for this box and I only paid $19.17. I’m pretty happy with this box as I will definitely use 3 out of 5 of the items. Glossybox always gives a nice value and mostly full size products so no complaints there!
