I totally lost track of my Birchbox this month so it was a surprise when it arrived in my mailbox. Let’s see what I got.
First Look – this was so hard to get stacked up for a picture. Seriously so hard! Lol
Beekind Shampoo. 1oz. Value $1.88. I tried a Beekind lotion before and really wasn’t impressed, but I will try out this shampoo
It is made with honey extract which sounds interesting.
Benefit Posiebalm. Value $4.50. This packaging is too cute. This mango butter balm that has a hint of pink. I did hear that maybe this wasn’t a great balm but I will try it out soon to see if I like it.
Marcelle Gentle Makeup Remover for Sensitive Eyes. Value $5.10. This was my chosen sample for this month’s Birchbox. I have only tried it once and it worked pretty good. It took off my makeup and did not sting my eyes always a plus. I do think I prefer my normal eye makeup remover from Neutrogena though.
Miss Jessie’s Original Super Sweetback Treatment. Value $3.50. This deep hair conditioner is a pretty good size at 2oz. I’ve heard of Miss Jessie’s products but have not tried them. This is made with shea butter and is good for curls and waves. That’s great as I’ve been wearing my hair wavy lately. One thing about this product is you have to wait 30 minutes before you rinse this out so I will probably try this on the weekend.
Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner. Value $4.40. I got the color Jamun which is a deep purple. I have actually found that deep purple works quite well with my coloring. I like to do a light shimmery shadow and a dark eyeliner so I think I will use this.
I calculate a value of $19.38 for this box. I only paid $9.17 and I will get some points when I do reviews on birchbox is website. This is a little lower value than normal but I’m still pretty happy with this box!
