Mask Genie March 2015 Pouch Unboxing

Mask Genie  is a company based in Hong Kong that sends masks from all over Asia.  I know of Genie from her blog Genie’s Favorite Products and respect that she will send quality masks that she would use herself.  They offer a 5 mask pouch for $11 and a 10 mask pouch for $22. Here is what I got in my 10 mask March pouch!

First Look

Shara Shara Smooth Bebe Foot Hydration Mask. I’ve tried this mask before and it’s quite nice. Shara Shara is a Korea brand that I got a lot of from Memebox. Their skincare products are not bad and I’m glad to have another moisturizing foot mask.  Genie actually asked our opinion on Facebook if we wanted this mask or another one and this was what the majority wanted!

The Face Shop New Zealand Volcanic Clay Blackhead Charcoal Nose Strip. There always seems to be a pore strip in these pouches and they are very popular so I understand why, I just don’t use them. I do like The Face Shop products and I’ll give this away.

Lovemore Loofah & Aloe Vera. This is a mask from a Taiwanese company Lovemore. I have received this brand in Mask Genie pouches before and they are very high performing masks. I love using aloe products as they are soothing and moisturizing. A loofah is like a cucumber as you can see pictured on the mask. I can’t wait to try this one.

Nature Republic Snail Solution. I actually have some of these masks, though in a previous version of packaging. I’m a big fan of the Korean brand Nature Republic and these masks are quite nice. Nature Republic masks really fit my face well and they have a good amount of essence on them. Plus these have one of my favorite ingredients – snail!

Benico 3D Acerola Mask. This mask is designed to be used cold and you can put it in the refrigerator. I don’t like cold masks so I plan to just use this as a regular mask and that’s Ok too. Benico is a Japanese brand and we received two masks from this brand. This is the Acerola (cherry) flavor which has anti-aging properties.

Benico 3D Rice Mask.  I also received the rice flavor which targets whitening which is code for brightening in Asian skincare. This mask is designed to be used hot and you can put it in some hot water before use. I’m not sure I will use it hot or just the regular way because I’m not much of a planner and doubt I’ll remember to heat it up before I want to use it.

Mandom Barrier Repair Facial Mask. I like to call this the creepy baby mask. lol. I’m not exactly sure but I think this is the HA super moist version. This mask is from Japan. I will try it soon, if only to get rid of that baby!

Seatree Art Aloe Mask Sheet. I know I’ve used products from the Korean brand Seatree from Memebox before but I don’t believe I’ve used a mask. This is another aloe mask which is great for the warmer months coming up. Aloe looks well with my skin in the summer.

3W Clinic Fresh Pomegranate Mask. I’ve used a lot of 3W Clinic products before and I find them to be a good cheaper brand. I do like pomegranate products as they are moisturizing and have anti aging properties. And if you like closely you can see the Samsung logo as they own 3W Clinic!

Tony Moly I’m Real Avocado. I’ve used several Tonymoly I’m Real masks before and they perform well. I do wish I had gotten a different type as I think avocado smells weird in skincare products. I will still use it.

I never do a breakdown on Mask Genie as some of the masks are really hard to find online. I do trust that they are quality masks as she uses them herself. I love the curation of her bags and can’t wait to get them every month.

Mask Genie  also now has a website now so you can sign up there!
