This Week in Masks – 8/9

Here are the masks I used this week.

Tonymoly Earth Beauty. Kelp Mask Sheet.  Ok I admit I totally got caught up in all the hype of these masks and had to have them!  I got a set of 3 from Rose Rose Shop.  I didn’t research them or anything!  Luckily it didn’t have anything too terrible in the ingredients. The masks itself is kelp and it targets elasticity.
The mask has a really puke looking green goo on it. And it smelled really terrible. I mean really terrible like rotten seaweed on the beach. The yellow/green goo stayed on my face after I took off the mask and eventually I wiped it off. I honestly didn’t notice any real benefits from this mask but then I didn’t let all the essence soak in. I have two more of these but I’m not sure I’m going to use them or sell them.

Lovemore Wine Yeast Mask. I have a huge stock of Lovemore masks now yay!!   I tried out the wine yeast mask this week. This is the same lovely silk sheet mask and this one targets whitening or brightening. My skin was a bit red early in the week and this really made my face look less red. I was very moisturizing and left my face feeling great. I just love these masks.

Holika Holika Juicy Pomegranate Mask Sheet. I bought this in an Instagram auction and it smelled great, just like pomegranate. I thought it worked pretty good at moisturizing my skin. It did fit well and had a lot of essence on them. This does contain alcohol which I don’t stay away from but I know others that do.

Banila Co. Claypatra Mineral Salt Clay Mask. I got a bit out of the habit of using clay masks this year because honestly the other face mask options I have are mostly easier.   But nothing beats a clay mask for getting deep down into the pores and cleaning out the impurities. This one is one of my favorites as it doesn’t dry my skin out at all!

Thats all for this week. What masks did you use this week?!?!
