Thank goodness my September Mask Genie pouch arrived safely as it seems my August pouch is hopelessly lost in the mail! Mask Genie is a company based in Hong Kong that sends masks from all over Asia. I know of Genie from her blog Genie’s Favorite Products and respect that she will send quality masks that she would use herself. They offer a 5 mask pouch for $12 and a 10 mask pouch for $22. This price includes shipping and all fees. I’ve been a subscriber since Mask Genie’s first pouch and if you are an Asian beauty mask fan I promise you if you subscribe you will never be disappointed! Let’s see what I got!
Dia Force Ruby Hydro Ampould Gel Mask. Korea. This was the spoiler mask for this pouch and it is a pink hydrogel! I think that sounds fun plus I really like hydrogel masks so can’t wait to try this one. Genie also said this brand is quite popular in Hong Kong where she lives right now.
Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet. Blueberry. Korea. I’ve used these masks before but not this particular type. They are OK masks but nothing special IMO. I do like blueberry so hopefully it smells like that.
Mediental Acai Berry Mask. Korea. Genie sent out several different flavor of this mask at random. I got the Acai Berry which I have eaten in things like yogurt but I don’t think I’ve used it in an sheet mask so I’m not sure what effect it may have.
Etude House Hyaluronic Acid Mask. Korea. I’m a big fan of the Etude House masks as a cheaper sheet mask. I love Hyaluronic acid masks and as winter is approaching I will use more moisturizing masks like this.
Mask Pack Royal Oriental Medicine & Thermal Water. Korea. I really like oriental medicine ingredients so I’m curious to give this a try. I’ve never heard of this brand before so it’s always nice to try new things, that’s why I love Mask Genie!
Simply Aqua Moisture Mask. Taiwan. This mask in a small but pretty packet! It has anti-aging properties and contains Hyaluronic acid for hydration.
Sam Tin Platinum Essence Facial Mask. Taiwan. This masks looks pretty average but Genie gave it rave reviews on her unboxing video so I’m extra excited to try it. It targets pores and anti- aging, both skin concerns I have.
Dr Morita Revitalising Essence Facial Mask. Taiwan. Dr. Morita is a pretty popular Asian beauty brand. I don’t know that I have ever tried anything from this brand yet but I’ll certainly try this mask.
My Scheming Crystal Whitening Brightening Eye Mask. Taiwan. I like My Scheming face masks but I’ve never tried eye masks. Genie stays these are jelly masks so they feel like putting jelly on your face- weird!
Nature Republic Skin Smoothing Blackhead Removing Nose Patch. Korea. I don’t use nose patches but they are quite popular in Asian beauty so I understand why Genie includes them frequently. I’ll sell or give this away.
Im quite happy with the pouch this month as it has a lot of Taiwanese brands which is something I’ve been looking at more lately. Don’t get me wrong I still love Korean products but Taiwan has some great stuff too!
