This Week in Masks – 10/25

This week I was busy with a couple things so I didn’t get to do as much masking as I usually do. I thought about opening the door for Halloween with a sheet mask on but didn’t want to terrify the neighbor kids. 🙂

Blithe Intensive Mask Abalone Blue Zone Marine. I saw these Blithe masks earlier this summer and I wanted to try them and I finally picked up a couple and decided to try out the abalone one. Abalone is a shellfish that is kinda in the sea snail family. It’s not an ingredient I’ve tried yet. I’ll be honest I’m not sure which part of the abalone this is made from but it was quite greasy. I liked the mask overall and it stuck well to my face and was large enough to cover everything. It was really greasy when I removed it and after a bit I wiped some off. I didn’t even use a sleep mask that night as my face felt so moisturized, almost too much. However, when I woke up the next morning my face was smooth like butter. I loved it!  I might try to find some more masks with abalone in them to try out. I heard that Mediheal has one and I’m sure there are more out there.

Nature Republic Lemon Foot Peeling Mask. Since it’s getting cold out its time to do a foot peeling mask.  This is my favorite one I’ve tried, though I do wish they had different booties. These have a crinkly plastic that always tears open on me. So it’s kinda a pain but these are super effective so I deal with it. It took about 5 days for my feet to start peeling and they are well on their way now.

My Beauty Diary Imperial Birds Nest. Another favorite mask of mine as the birds nest makes my face feel so smooth and moisturized. This is actually the last one I have on hand so I may need to order some more.

That’s it for this week. What masks did you use this week?!?!
