Ipsy Glam Bag January Unboxing

Ipsy can be very hit and miss with their bags so I never know what I’m gonna get each month. Last month’s bag was pretty good so let’s see if Ipsy kept it up this month.

If you are not familiar with Ipsy Glam Bag it’s a monthly bag of deluxe sample and full size beauty items. The company was started by makeup guru Michelle Phan. One of the big benefits of Ipsy is it’s cheap only $10 a month. Let’s see what I got!

First Look

Lasting Smiles Organic Lipbalm in Peppermint. Value $3.99. I can always use lipbalm and I love minty ones like this.  This lipbalm I was surprised to see is available at Target.

Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum. .24oz. Value $31.42. I was pretty surprised when I priced this to see the value. This little tube is about half of the full size amount. Eye serum lasts a long time though so this will probably last awhile.

Beau Gachis Paris Smudge Brush. Value $12. Ipsy could send me a makeup brush every month and I’d seriously be happy. I can just never have too many makeup brushes and I have a couple cheap ones that probably need to go. This one seems to be pretty nice too.

theBalm Mr. Write Now in Scott B.  Value $17. I have used this eyeliner several times now and was really surprised and how much I love this. The color is Bordeaux or a deep purple which is so pretty. The formula itself is rich and creamy and goes on super smooth. And it lasts all day long too. Wow I may need some other colors of this!

Hikari Cosmetics Cream Pigment in Mink. Value $13. This is a really nice color as its a bright bronze with shimmer. I haven’t used it yet and honestly I’m not an enormous fan of cream shadows but I’m happy to give it a try.

The makeup bag is ok this month. Feels a bit cheap though.

I calculate a value of $77.11 for this bag which is amazing for the $10 I paid. This was a huge win for me as I’ll use everything in it and even found a new favorite eyeliner!
