The January Raw Spice Bar monthly box features spices of Egypt. I really don’t know anything about Egyptian food so this is all new to me.
The Raw Spice Bar monthly box sends 3 hand-picked, small batch, freshly ground spice blends and accompanying recipes. The box costs $6 per month with free shipping. If you subscribe for a year you get a free month. Each month has a theme too! Let’s see what I got!
Product Card – they changed up the cards this month so there are now two with info on the front and back. It’s also on thicker paper. I like it.
Egyptian Spices. This spice blend is used to create a spice paste. It’s good for fish, roasted eggplant or root vegetables.
Hazelnut Dukkah. This is a blend of hazelnuts and sesame seeds. You can use it to add flavor to vegetables, paste or as a dip with toasted flatbread and olive oil. That’s sounds delicious.
Ground Sumac Berries. Sumac berries bring out citrus and tartness in any dish. These are a great color too! The dressing in the recipe sounds really yummy, I might have to try it.
Some great uniques spices this month. I love the theme and recipes this month.
