Mask Genie is one of my favorites monthly packages as it brings me a lot of fun masks. This month my package didn’t come until March which seems to be the trend with the pouches lately. That’s ok as I have plenty of masks so am in no danger of running out.
If you are not familiar with Mask Genie it is a company based in Hong Kong that sends masks from all over Asia. In it you will get some masks from some popular brands you may recognize and also some unique brands which are fun to try. In some cases I’ve found some favorite brands through this pouch. Genie recently announced there will be some changes starting in 2016 for her pouches. First, there will now only be one pouch which contains 8-10 masks, instead of the 5 and 10 mask pouches she previously did. Also the price increases slightly to $23.99. Genie said that this is so she can sometimes include masks at a higher price point then she could if she had to include 10 masks every time. That is fine with me as my main draw to this pouch is the curation. I’m still confident it will be well worth the price. Let’s see what I got this time!
Skin Formula Skin Check Surge Squalane Moisturizing Black Mask. Taiwan. I’ve never heard of this brand before but I have used masks with Squalane in them before. Since this is a hydrating mask I will probably use this soon since it’s still wintertime where I live. Although it’s been unseasonably warm this year.
Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Blackberry Mask. Korea. I’ve used these masks before and they are nice cheaper masks. They usually smell good too. I’ll use it.
SNP Beijing Opera Waterfull Mask. Korea. This is similar to the animal face masks from SNP that are really popular. I think they are fun and work pretty well.
MUL Snail Hypermoisture Paper Mask. Korea. I used this mask already and I found it to be super sticky. I liked the mask itself but didn’t care for the stickiness.
My Scheming Goat Milk Moisturizing & Brightening Mask. Korea. I like My Scheming masks but I have never tried this one. Goats milk is really moisturizing so this should be really nice.
Eye Masks. I couldn’t really tell much about these as they were not labeled and Genie didn’t do an Unboxing video yet this month. They look to be a gel eye mask so I’m sure they will be moisturizing.
Ladykin Green Harmony Mask Pack Pear. Korea. There were different versions of this mask available and I got pear. The pear version is good for anti-aging, acne and oily skin. I have combination skin but I do have acne so I’ll give this a try.
Annie’s Way Aloe Moisturizing Mask. Taiwan. Ugh sorry this is a bad picture. In tax season I get home so late it’s pretty dark. Anyhow, I like Annie’s Way masks so I’m happy to have this.
Another great pouch from Mask Genie!
